Music Network’s mission is to make high quality live music available and accessible to people throughout Ireland, regardless of their location or circumstance, while supporting the career development of musicians. 

Their vision is that of a culture which increasingly values live music as an integral part of our everyday lives. 




Irish National Opera has a highly ambitious vision for Ireland’s opera sector, which builds on the solid foundations of Opera Theatre Company and Wide Open Opera, acknowledging their individual values and missions and taking their operational model to a new level.

Their mission includes delivering an unprecedented commitment to showcasing Irish artists, sustaining key institutional partnerships, and maximising public engagement with opera.



The mission of the Contemporary Music Centre, Ireland is to nurture the creation, performance and dissemination of, and engagement with, contemporary music from Ireland. 

CMC supports artists from the island of Ireland in the creation and performance of new music, introducing a broader public to the richness of new music from Ireland.  As the all-island library and archive for contemporary music from Ireland, CMC ensures that the contemporary music landscape in Ireland is documented and preserved for future generations and that access to their dynamic library of contemporary works is provided. 

CMC aims to be a relevant, resourceful and recognisable force in the documentation, development and promotion of contemporary music from the island of Ireland.

The Irish Baroque Orchestra is one of Ireland’s most dynamic and versatile ensembles. IBO draws on the artistry and vibrancy of each member to perform music from the 17th and 18th centuries to the highest standards.

Furthermore, they seek to reconnect Ireland to the music, and musicians, of its past and celebrate Ireland’s rich musical history. Their annual Concert Season embraces a wide variety of genres to bring the sublime beauty of baroque music into a contemporary context.

The ConTempo Quartet is currently RTÉ Quartet in Residence and is also the Galway Music Residency resident quartet. Praised as a “fabulous foursome” (Irish Independent) and noted for performances which are “exceptional” (The Strad) and “full of imaginative daring” (The Irish Times), the ConTempo Quartet has forged a unique place in Irish musical life.



The Department of Music at Maynooth University houses a lively undergraduate and postgraduate community engaged in learning, teaching and research in musicology, performance, composition and music technology. Guided by Maynooth University’s policy on equality and empowered by its commitment to access and opportunity, the department seeks to provide a collegial, supportive and inclusive environment for all their students, teaching staff and researchers.

Since its founding in 2008, Quiet Music Ensemble has had outstanding opportunities to work with some of Ireland’s, and the world’s, most exciting composers and artists, half of whom have happened to be female; their founding dedication to a policy of gender equality has rewarded us with unforgettable experiences and taken them to extraordinary places.




The Department of Creative Arts, Media and Music at Dundalk Institute of Technology is the creative hub of the Institute bringing together exciting and innovative programmes in the areas of music, film, theatre and creative media. A key pillar in the artistic community in Co. Louth through our performances, showcases and exhibitions, the Department also celebrates the rich cultural heritage and talents of the region in which it is located.
